Serve the Lord, Share the Mercy
Kartik Mas Deep Daan Seva (Damodar Arati)
Participate in Deep Daan (offering of a lamp) and Kirtan to Lord Damodar in your home, office, or school during the auspicious month of Kārtik.

The Srimad-Bhagavatam (Skanda 4, Chapter 27, Verse 21) states:
'dīpadānena me na bhūto na bhaviṣyati, yena prasāro bhagavān harir ālokakṛt svayaṁ'.
The essence (bhāvārtha) is that by offering a lamp, a person does not experience sorrow, nor will they in the future. By Deep Daan, the Lord of the three worlds, Śrī Hari, is pleased.
